Christmas held gifts galore this year for residents at Life Care Center of Yuma, Arizona.
All associates got involved and selected a resident’s name from the Christmas tree leading up to the holiday, and when the annual Resident Christmas Party came around on Dec. 21, 2016, every resident had something to open.
“No resident was left out,” said Heather McDermott, activity director. “It was moving to see the smiles on the residents’ faces when they opened their gifts. No matter how big or small the gift, the resident appreciated it.”
Residents also enjoyed a catered lunch from Olive Garden.
“I enjoyed the food so much,” said resident Sammy Mulkey. “They also surprised the heck out of me when they brought me my present. I’m sure everyone was impressed with the program.”
